This research project concerns the effect of music therapy sessions on the quality of life people suffering from cancer disease. The sessions incorporate singing, receptive music listening, music and imagery, relaxation, speech and discussions. In this project quality of life is measured by 36-item Short Form Health Survey. The SF-36 contains the questions that provide a generic measure of self-reported health status. They can be grouped in eight dimensions: physical functioning, role-physical, role-emotional, bodily pain, vitality, mental health, social functioning and general health.
