Eating Healthy
The first thing you should do, when beginning a new weight loss program, is keep track of what you eat on a daily basis. Writing everything down will give you a much clearer picture of your good and bad eating habits. As you probably already know, your diet should be based on whole foods, fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. Exercise Regularly
If inspired to do so, by all means go to the gym and enjoy a long-term, healthy work out regimen. For most of us though, it is hard to find the time or energy to go to the gym on a regular basis. The best recommendation I can make is for you to become a physically active person. Simple tasks like house cleaning, mowing the lawn, and washing the car by hand can be considered physical activity.
