Online lessons are made mostly of forty five minute videos that you can stop, pause or replay as many times as needed so that you can learn the way that's best for you. There are also charts available that show you the notes to play so that you get it down correctly.

Once you have learned the basics of rhythm guitar, it is easy to transition to another type of music. You can use the notes in rhythm guitar to create your own songs and also to play country, jazz or classical guitar. Once you have mastered the basic elements, than it is easy to transfer them from one genre to another.
